Meredith’s life is led by her roles as a wife, mother, civil/environmental engineer, and Christian.

Meredith is a North Dakota native from the Jamestown area. While at NDSU, she married her husband Joe, a Pennsylvania native who moved to ND and graduated high school in Casselton. The Quinn’s moved to Grand Forks in 2007 where Meredith joined the team at Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services (AE2S) and Joe completed law school. Grand Forks is now home where they work and raise their 3 children, Joseph, Elliott, & Katelyn.

Katelyn was born in 2013 with a very rare genetic seizure disorder which still has not been named. She continues to have seizures daily, has multiple severe impairments, and has home nursing care. She has outlived her life expectancy so the family does not take a day for granted.

With the life changing gift of a child with special needs, Meredith has become an advocate for Katelyn and others as a member of the governor appointed ND Interagency Coordinating Council, Officer on the School Board, and Family Voices Board Member. Her husband Joe serves on the Sanford Children’s Hospital Family Advisory Council. She also is an officer in Toastmasters, an active member of her professional organization, the American Water Works Association (AWWA), a Friend of Optimists, and cantors at church on Sundays. She loves the outdoors and everything water related whether work or play.
